Heart of Carnelian

Image
I remember when I bought this beautiful Carnelian. In the dark, it looks like a deep reddish orange but in the sunlight, it looks like it's on fire. I wrapped it in copper and it is currently for sale in my store. Click here to visit the store. Carnelian, like Agate, is a form of Chalcedony. According to the Egyptian Book of the Dead, Carnelian was to be placed in the tombs as magic armor for life after death Excerpt from the Egyptian Book of the Dead:              " M ine is a heart of carnelian, crimson as murder on a holy day. There are many names for this: energy workers, witches, pagans, white magic, etc. This client in particular uses her gifts to help others and she requested a protective amulet in the form of an ankh. The Egyptian Ankh is also known as the Key of Life. In this piece I used a total of four metals: Aluminum, Copper, Brass and Hematite. The Hematite is coated over the Brass. It is also worn during rituals to increase the direction of energy towards a desired goal. Copper is Receptive/Female and its element is Water Brass attracts money and has the energy of the sun. Brass is protective and is great with defensive magic--it, ju...
