The Seer Stone: A Journey into the Soul, Past, Present, and Future


The message of the Seer Stone is this: Let me take you on a journey into your inner self. Explore the past, the present, and create your own future. What you see may or may not come to pass. It is up to you. Close your eyes and focus on your breath to still your mind and let us travel into the realm of knowing.



There are two main types of Seer stones that I know of. There are the Window Quartz and also the river rocks. The one in the photo is a river quartz.

Seer stones have been used as a way for shamans, fortunetellers and psychics to predict the future. Even the Latter Day Saints once used it. Click here for more info on that. There's hardly any info on the web about Seer stones. What are the properties? What do they do? What are they made of?

I can answer a few of those questions. Seer stones are made up of clear quartz. True you have the Window Quartz which looks very different from the stone here--but they all are known for doing the same thing. Simply gaze into the stone as you  meditate.

Not only does Seer stone have the same metaphysical properties or magical properties as clear Quartz, but it also will help you focus on getting into that state for meditation. It will take you on a long, long journey--deep inside your own soul.

As with every unique crystal and gem, the Seer stone has it's own guardian and the stone will come to you when it is meant for  you to learn something.

My Teacher, Daryl Thompson

Daryl Thompson Taught Me More Than Just How To Wire Wrap Gemstones Into Jewelry.  Painting of Daryl by a fan. (I don't know their name) Before I go into detail about his legendary music, let me introduce Daryl to you from my eyes.  In 2007, I was in Atlanta walking through Little 5 Points trying to sell my art. I was broke, a student in Job Corps, trying to make extra cash to help my mother get off the streets. I found myself in Elegance Boutique and met Denise and Daryl for the first time. The Daryl I met was kind, caring, and very informative about jewelry and gemstones. I felt at home from that first moment and knew that these two people were special. Time passed and I became close to them both. Daryl needed a website and online presence for his music. I didn't know he was a musician. I thought, "Okay cool. Happy Birthday Dad

Today was the day Daryl Adonis Thompson was born. He was my adoptive father. He had a heart so big that any daughter that crossed his path without a father he would claim. Daryl, besides being a good father and husband to his wife, was a Grammy winning guitarist and a master of wire wrapping. He is the one who taught me. You can read more about him here .
